Asian Takeout at Home: Pad Thai, Crab Rangoon, and Dumplings
Takeout at Home: Pad Thai, Crab Rangoon && Dumplings

The weekends are normally my time to partake in some good takeout while binging the latest Netflix series (Looking atchu Bridgerton) but I decided...why not Netflix binge and make asian takeout at home?
In my last post, I mentioned my delicious air-fryed wings courtesy of my Instant Pot. Well, it came through for me once again!
I made homemade pad thai, dumplings and crab rangoon all in that one device (I sound like a salesperson don’t I)
Anyhoo, most of the grunt work (and stress release) was making the fillings
Pad Thai: A bed of Rice Noodles, Onion, garlic, chicken, shrimp, grated carrot, green chives, bean sprouts, Pad thai sauce and mushrooms
Dumpling filling: Ground Pork & Shrimp, grated carrots, purple cabbage, green onion, garlic, hoison sauce, soy sauce
Crab Rangoon: Imitation Crab, cream cheese, green onion, sweet chili sauce, salt and pepper (the one in the pic are egg washed but I made them again except with oil this time, gives you deep fry taste without all the grease))
YouTube was my friend for different pleating methods for the dumplings. It takes some practice but eventually you get the hang of it. I might retire from takeout for a little while cause this definitely hit the spot!
Indulge in some self care this weekend ya’ll!
